Albert was born 14 November 1899 in Aylesbury to George Jarvis & Hannah (née Badrick).

In 1919 he married Elvina Beatrice Rowe in Berkhamsted and their daughter Elvina Beatrice was born in 1920.

Albert joined the Army at some point: the 1921 census records him as “soldier” living at 58, Castle Street.

Harold E was born in 1923 followed by Peter (1930) and Hazel (1934).

The 1939 Register shows the couple at 9, Woodlands Avenue. Albert was a refuse collector for the Urban District Council.

Albert died in late 1943 Berkhamsted aged 45. Elvina married Frederick Moss in 1952.
