Biography:
Albert Haworth
18/09/1879 –22/12/1941

Unmarked grave Albert Haworth (1879-1941)

Albert was born 18 September 1879 in Blackburn, Lancashire. Unfortunately it is a common name for the area and several Alberts were born there that year: so far it has not been possible to trace his early life.

In June 1921 Albert was a chauffeur living at Hares Foot Farm, Northchurch, probably employed by John Harden the farm and estate manager.

In 1939 he married Beatrice Miriam Barrett, born in Leighton Buzzard, and in 1939 they were living at 59, Gossoms End. Albert was a tobacconist and Barbara was “shop manageress”.

Albert died 22 December 1941 at 59, Gossoms End aged 62,

Beatrice married Albert F Barber in Berkhamsted in 1945.
