Brian Albert was the son of Albert E Carter and his wife Dorothy M (née Marshland) who had married in Berkhamsted in 1937. Their daughter Sheila was born that year.
Albert was a carpenter’s labourer and, at the time of the 1939 Register, a Special Constable.
Brian was born in October 1940, probably at 87 Woodlands Avenue Berkhamsted where he died in January 1941 aged only 4 months. He was buried 27 January.
