Plot 886 Eliza Ann Lothian (née Lismer) (1856-1929)

Eliza was born in 1856 in the St Pancras area of London, the daughter of Thomas and Eliza Lismer. Her father was a railway worker born in Berkhamsted.

She married widower John Lothian 27 February 1892 at St Andrew’s, Haverstock Hill, London. He was a railway foreman, as was her father by this date, and was seven years older than Eliza.

After barely three years of marriage John died on 7 March 1895 at 22, Charlton Street, Kentish Town naming his father-in-law Thomas as his executor.

By 1911 Eliza was living with her younger sister Rosina and brother-in-law Harry Gravestock at 31, Ravens Lane.

Eliza Ann died on Christmas day 1929 aged 72 at 31, Ravens Lane and is buried here with Rosina and Harry.
