Unmarked grave Ellen Johnson (née Newell) (1882-1935)

Ellen was born in Berkhamsted in 1882 and married William Johnson, a general labourer, in 1902 in London

William Alfred was born in 1903 in Shepherds Bush, George Frederick (1905 Acton) and Henry Albert (Harry) (1908 Acton),

In 1911 the family lived at 29, Stirling Road, Acton , where Thomas Edward was born and died that year.

Son Jack  as born in 1912 in Chiswick, but by the time Eric was born in 1920 the family had moved to Berkhamsted.

In 1921 they lived at 5, New Street and William was a general labourer employed by HJ Matthews, builders.

Ellen died at 253, High Street in January 1935. The date of William’s death has not been discovered, but he is buried here with her.
