Little Elliot was born and died in late 1943 to George W and Olive A (née Cotterill) Austin.
George worked for the telephone service as an instrument adjuster and Olive was a librarian in a shop – perhaps W H Smith’s lending library. In 1939 they had been living at 22, Gossoms End.
Baby Elliott is shown in the recorded as being buried with another unidentified person – it was probably another infant, perhaps still born.
