JAMES ADAMS 1826-1911 James was baptised on the 22nd of March 1826 in Ivinghoe, Bucks, but was born in the neighbouring hamlet of Ringshall. His parents were William and Harriet (nee Dean), who were married at St Marys, Aylesbury on the 2nd of November 1807. James lived his early life in Northchurch, and married Charlotte Grover on the 7th of January 1855, at Aldbury parish church. They lived in the High Street in Berkhamsted, and latterly at 31 Highfield Road. They had no children. James died in 1911. Sadly, Charlotte ended her days at the Union Workhouse, and died in 1915.
