Unmarked grave Jessie Stuart McGill (1878-1935)

Jessie was born in 1878 in Glasgow. Her early life has not been traced but she married Robert McGill, a joiner, also from Glasgow, in 1908. Their daughter Jane Fleming McGill was born that year in the city.

By 1910 when Jessie Nesmith Walton was born they had moved to Bedstone Cottage, Bucknell, Shropshire and Robert was employed as an estate carpenter and electrician.

Kathleen Stuart was born in 1918 in Berkhamsted and in 1921 the family lived at 63, Cross Oak Road. Robert was employed by a Kensington firm of builders and decorators.

Jessie died in July 1935 aged 56.
