Rectory Lane Cemetery, Berkhamsted

John was born in Great Gaddesdon on 5th February 1817 and was baptised on 9th March.  His father was a carpenter and his mother, Martha, a dressmaker. He became a carpenter too and lived at home with his parents until he married Sarah Loader when he was 38 and she was 30.  They had two daughters. He died in 1904 and his wife lived on till 1922.
