Other than that she was born 11 November 1899, it has not proved possible to trace anything about Julia’s life before she married Frank Lindley Putt in 1926 in Berkhamsted.
In 1929 they were living at 29, Bridge Street and the 1938 Register records Julia at 19, Bridge Street. She is shown as married, but there is no sign of Frank. Also in the house was 61 year old waiter Edward Mardle.
Julia died in March 1941 aged 42 at Bridge Street.
Frank married again in 1944, to Emily Harris, and died in Amersham in 1973.
