Biography:
Louisa Anne Tyers
1861 –1939

Unmarked grave Louisa Ann Tyers (1861-1939)

Louisa was born in 1861 in Two Waters, Hemel Hempstead to carpenter Arthur Tyers and his wife Eliza Sophia (née Mutton).

Louisa entered domestic service and in 1881 was employed by teacher William Taylor and his wife at Apsley Mills.

In 1929 she was on the Electoral roll with Lancelot and Louisa Errington and Amy Gibbs at The Red House, 91, High Street, Berkhamsted. It seems highly likely that she and Amy were domestic servants. (The Red House is now 119, High Street and in 1841 was the home of forger and murderer John Tawell, hanged at Aylesbury in 1845.)

Louisa died in May 1939 at 100, Gossoms End.
