Louisa was born in 1883 in Berkhamsted to Jesse and Jane Rose. Her father was a labourer and her mother a laundress. She was the third of their five daughters and had three brothers.
In 1901 she was living with her family at 32, Cross Oak Road and working as a laundry maid.
Louisa married Sidney Mason, a coach smith, in 1909 in Berkhamsted.
Their only child, Ethel, was born in 1910 but sadly died in February 1912, aged just six months at 56, Shrublands Avenue. She is buried in this cemetery.
Louisa died in December 1920, aged 37.
