Plot 954 Mary Emma Monk (née Robbins) (1878-1953) Mary was born in 1878 in Oving, Bucks, the daughter of John Robbins, gardener. She married gardener Mark Thomas Monk on 29 April 1903 in Tring parish church. They moved to Berkhamsted where Edith Emily (1905), Cecil Edward (1907) and Reginald (1909) were born. By 1911 they were living at 22, Cross Oak Road and Mark was employed as a jobbing domestic gardener. Doris May was born that year. Sadly their son Reginald died 5 December 1923, aged 14, and is buried here. Mary and Mark remained at 22, Cross Oak Road where Mark died 1 January 1952. Mary died 25 March 1953.
