Unmarked grave Percival Arthur Charles Williams (1881-1942)

Percival was born 14 December 1881 in Camberwell, London and married Martha Simpson in 1907.

Their only child, Charlotte Alfredia, was born in 1907 in Manor Park, Essex.

In 1911 the family lived at 36, Lawrence Avenue, Manor Park. Percival was a travelling salesman for Wicksteads Bedsteads Ltd.

Ten years later they were at 32, Monsell Road, Islington. Percival was still employed by Wicksteads Bedsteads Ltd.

By the time of the 1939 Register Percival and Martha had moved to 22, Victoria Road, Berkhamsted. The register reads “Incapacitated”  and a different hand has added “Blind”.

Martha died in January 1942 and Percival died in Eton in October that year, aged 60.
