Raymond was born in 1930, the youngest child of Nellie (née Flint) and Albert Holloway. His father was an electrical engineer born in Bletchley. The family lived at 14, Hazel Road.
Sadly Raymond died in West Herts Hospital aged only 12 in December 1942.
