Unmarked grave Rebecca Holliday (née Stevens) (1821-1897)

Rebecca was born in 1821 in Cheddington, Bucks, but details of her early life have not been traced.

She married George Holliday, a bricklayer, in Berkhamsted in 1850 and they were to have four daughters: Mary A (1852), Ellen (1856), Ann (1861) and Alice (1863).

They appear to have lived all their married lives in the High Street next door to the Union workhouse.

Rebecca died May 1897 High Street aged 73.

Daughter Ellen, who never married, died in 1929 and is buried in this cemetery.
