Rebecca was born in about 1821 in Tring.
It has not been possible to trace her early life, nor whom she married.
Rebecca had entered the Berkhamsted Union workhouse by April 1891. She was entered on the census as widowed needlewoman.
She died November 1896 aged 75 in the Berkhamsted Union workhouse and was buried in a common grave with Joseph Elliott, another Union inmate who died in December.
