map View full burial details
Sarah Ann Hurst was the daughter John and Mary Ann Hurst. John was a farmer at Holly Bush Fam, Nettleden. Sarah Ann, their only child, was baptised 4 Aug 1852 at Nettleden, ‘Buckingham’, England. Sarah Ann died 26 October 1857 aged only 5. Her father died less than a week after her, at the age of 30. The close proximity of their deaths suggest that either they suffered from a common illness, or that this was possibly a case of suicide. Mary Ann Hurst lived as a widow with her parents, John and Hannah Clare until 1861, when she re-married, this time to John Collins of Latimer.
