Unmarked grave Sarah Ann Walton (née Lloyd) (1864-1939)
Sarah was born 15 January 1864 in Holborn, London. Her father was Thomas Lloyd, a porter.
In 1881 she was a lace machinist living with her widowed father and her brother Frederick, a printer, at 2, New Square, St Bride’s, City of London.
Sarah married Henry Walton, a male nurse, on 21 April 1907 in Haringey. She was living at 651, Green Lanes, Haringey at the time.
The 1911 census records the couple living at 12, Cross Oak Road, Berkhamsted. Sarah was a monthly nurse, employed to live in a household with a new born baby to assist the mother in the first weeks.
Sarah died 5 November 1939 aged 75 at 3, Gossoms End. Henry survived her until 1949 and is buried here.
