Sarah Eggleton
1866 –1909

Unmarked grave Sarah Eggleton (née Harnott) (1866-1909)

Sarah was born in 1866 in Hawridge, Bucks to Martha and Joseph Harnott. He was an agricultural labourer. By the age of 15 Sarah was a straw plaiter like her mother, and probably had been from an early age.

She married Harry Eggleton, a cowman from Wigginton, in Aylesbury in 1884. Florence  was born in 1886 and Charles in 1888 in Hawridge, where Harry was a shepherd.

In 1901 they were living at 2, Holliday Street with, Beatrice (1894) and her widowed mother.

When she died in January 1909 aged 43 she was living at 4, Gossoms End.

Her son Charles (1888-1936) lies in this cemetery in an unmarked grave
