Sophia was born in 1840 in Ley Hill, Bucks and married Frederick Norwood, a labourer, in Berkhamsted in 1866.
George was born in 1866, followed by Elizabeth (1870).
In 1871 they lived at Cross Oak Lodge and Frederick was an agricultural labourer.
Frederick jnr. was born in 1874, Ada (1877) and Charles in 1881.
From at least 1881 the family lived in the High Street.
In the 1911 and 1921 censuses Sophia and Frederick are shown living with their daughter Ada and her husband Henry Bignell at 38, High Street where she died in November 1922 aged 82.
Frederick died at 38, High Street in June 1928 aged 84 and is buried in this cemetery
