Violet was born in 1907 to William and Beatrice (née Rowe) Prosser. Her father was a labourer in the saw mills.

It is likely that she contracted TB, and died in September 1927 at 29, Bridge Street, aged 19.

Her younger brother William died of TB in 1938 aged just 20 and is buried in this cemetery.

William and their grandfather Alfred Prosser are both buried in this cemetery.
