Unmarked grave Walter William Marshall (1880-1933) 

Walter was born in 1880 in Wombridge, Shropshire to William Marshall a “railway checker” and his wife Matilda.

When Walter married Blanche Emma Seymour in Salisbury in 1910 he was a sergeant in the Army Service Corps. The couple were living at 62, York Road, Salisbury in 1911.

By 1933 they lived at 36, Milton Road Herne Hill, Surrey, which was their home when Walter died 16 August 1933 in Berkhamsted near Billet Lane bridge, aged 53. The cause of death and the reason he was buried here and not in Herne Hill, are unknown.
