William George was born in 1926 to William Joseph (also known as Joseph William) Andrews and Emily Louisa (née Scrivener) who had married in 1919.
The family lived at 3, Provident Place. William Joseph was a road labourer for the Urban District Council, although at the time of the 1921 census he was out of work. Little William George had an elder sister, Winifred May who was born in 1920.
Sadly William George died aged only 3 in May 1927. He was buried 7 May.
