William was born 3 January 1800 in Ninfield, Sussex and baptised 9 February. The baptismal record shows that he was the illegitimate son of Elizabeth Sinden.
He married Hannah, from Redbourn and in 1861 was an innkeeper in Castle Street.
William died in September 1865.
