Unmarked grave William Johnson (1888- ?)

William was born in 1880 in Kingston, near Hook, London.

He married Ellen Newell in 1902, in London.

William Alfred was born in 1903 in Shepherds Bush, George Frederick (1905 Acton) and Henry Albert (Harry) (1908 Acton).

In 1911 William was working as a bricklayer’s labourer and the family lived at 29, Stirling Road, Acton. Son Thomas Edward born and died that year.

Jack was born in 1912 in Chiswick, but by the time Eric was born in 1920 the family had moved to Berkhamsted.

In 1921 they lived at 5, New Street and William was a general labourer employed by HJ Matthews, builders. The date of William’s death has not been discovered, but he is buried here with Ellen who died in 1935.
