William Prince
1853 –1921

Unmarked grave William Prince (1853-1921) William was born in 1853 and, according to his 1911 census return, in Luton. However it has not proved possible to trace him before that record by which he was an inmate of the Berkhamsted’s Union workhouse. The census shows that he was a general labourer, married, without children and 59 years old. William died ten years later in June 1921 in the workhouse infirmary aged 68.
