Interment of Ashes

In February 2015, a quiet ceremony took place in Rectory Lane Cemetery for the interment of Ashes of Amy Chowns, who died in December 2014; her relatives asked if her ashes could be buried in the grave of her grandparents, John and Lizzie Wright.
Amy was a keen gardener, and the grave will be planted and maintained as an example of what can be achieved if individual graves were better cared for.
