Local tradesmen and labourers are employed by the Church for the maintenance of the Cemetery. In the 1846 Great Berkhamsted Parish accounts, Pocock is paid 12s 7d for sharpening tools, and two men are paid a total of 9 shillings for carting earth.
Rectory Lane Cemetery is now open to the public. Due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 situation, we have cancelled a number of events planned for this year. We will keep everyone informed of any changes in the coming months through our Facebook page. Thank you to everyone for your continued support for this project.
