Rectory Lane Cemetery, Berkhamsted

We have developed guided tours drawing out different aspects of the cemetery: Memorial Restoration; Memorial Symbolism; Remarkable Women; Personalities from the Past; Literary Figures; Lives Cut Short; Countess of Bridgewater; Gravestone Geology; From Vision to Reality. Some of these are led by project volunteers, some by professional actors/guides.

Tours often take place during Heritage Open Days and, as such, are free to join – although places might be limited to groups of around 20/25.
