Victorian Berkhamsted
The Victorian era was an exciting time of great change across Britain. Here in Berkhamsted a new railway was built, new businesses sprung up, and many interesting new people came to the town, to visit or to stay. New shops and houses appeared, the parish church was renovated and a new cemetery was opened. Today that cemetery tells us the fascinating stories of the people who built Berkhamsted.
