Unmarked grave Alice Maud Brill (Baker) (1900-1945)

Alice Maud Baker was born 23 February 1900.

From about 1934 she was co-habiting with Albert William Brill, known as Bill. He was already married with one son and his wife Florence died in 1975.

Alice and Bill’s daughter Eileen Edith was born in 1935 in Berkhamsted.

In the 1939 Register they are recorded at 10, Middle Row, Berkhamsted. William was a carpenter and joiner and also a Special Constable. Alice was using the name Brill, although no marriage had taken place.

Alice died 7 January 1945 of “Respiratory Obstruction, Carcinoma of the larynx.”

Bill died in 1975 and his ashes are interred here with Alice.
