Rectory Lane Cemetery, Berkhamsted

Biography:
Alice Woolley
1842 –1915

Unmarked grave Alice Woolley (1842-1915)

Alice was born in 1842 in Puttenham, Herts.

She married Levi Woolley in 1887. They did not have any children.

In 1911 they lived in Wilstone, Tring. Someone had to complete the census form for the couple, including “signing” for Levi. No occupation is given for either of them and it is likely that Levi had worked as a labourer.

Alice died in the Berkhamsted Union Infirmary in November 1915 aged 73. She is buried in a parish grave with a married couple who also died in the Infirmary within days of each other.
