Unmarked grave Eliza Holliday (1889-1906)

Eliza was the daughter of shovel maker Alfred Holliday and his wife Ruth. She was born in Berkhamsted in 1889 and was baptised in July and had three older brothers and an older sister.

In 1891 the family lived at 8, The Wilderness and were still there in 1901. By then her father was a labourer for a timber merchant and her brother Ernest was a boat builder

Eliza died in December 1906 aged only 18.
