 Emma Akers née Andrews

Emma was born 31 May 1899 in Hertford, the third child of William J Andrews, a drayman, and his wife Elizabeth.

She married Philip Akers (b.1987) in about 1920 and they had three children: Lily D (1924), Phyllis M (1926) and Fredrick J Akers (1937).

In the 1939 Register the family are living at 1, The Cottages, Haresfoot Park, Bourne End and Philip was “Head pigman”.

Emma died 5th March 1940, aged forty one.
