Information about Evelyn has proved elusive. She was born 14 February 1901 and
married Charles Langridge, a slater and tiler, in 1927 in the Liverpool area.
In 1939 the couple were living at 146, High Street, once the “The One Bell” pub, with Charles Perry, an “incapacitated pensioner” who was probably her father.
Evelyn died in 1946 aged 45.
