Frederick Honour
1864 –1934

Unmarked grave Frederick Honour (1864-1934)  

Frederick was born 1864 in Potton End, the son of William and Jane Honour. His father was a bricklayer’s labourer and in 1881 Frederick, aged 17, was a general labourer, living at home.

His father died in 1881. William never married and remained living with his mother. In 1891 they were in the High Street and he was a stone breaker, presumably for road making or mending.

In 1911 they were living at 20, Mill Street and still working as a general labourer.

His mother Jane died in 1915 and is buried in this cemetery

Frederick died in Berkhamsted workhouse at 241a, High Street in March 1934, aged 70.
