Philip was born in Berkhamsted in 1928, the fourth son, and seventh child, of Leslie Douglas and Nellie (née Adams) Lemon. Leslie was an HCC roadman.
He died at 31, Swing Gate Lane in May 1929 aged just 14 months. His sister Christine is also buried in this cemetery.
