Unmarked grave Sarah Ann Estep (1912-1913)

Sarah Ann was the third child of Harriet and Walter Estep, born in 1912 in Berkhamsted. Her father was a canal boatman and it is likely that she was born on his barge Sarah. Life was hard for the boat families and sadly little Sarah died in March 1913. It was even more tragic for her parents as her baby sister Ivy was born and died that year. Ivy lies in this cemetery, as does their mother Harriet who died in 1931.
