Buried here is Arthur Campbell-Walker, Lieut-Colonel of Her Majesty’s Body Guard and author of two books:
- The Rifle, its Theory and Practice (1865)
- The Correct Card, Or How to Play at Whist, a Whist Catechism (1876)
His wife Katherine and eldest son Arthur are buried in the adjoining plot marked with a Celtic cross commissioned by Campbell-Walker himself.
