Grave of Nelson Henley, also inscribed with a memorial to Lieut R.D. Spendlove (“Bobbie), South Staffordshire Regt. who died in WWII and is buried in France. The epitaph uses lines from a poem by the Georgian poet Wilfred Wilson Gibson:

He’s gone, I do not understand,
