Albert was born in 1885 in Berkhamsted to Sarah Jane and Edward Harvey Bedford. His father ran a successful business as a carrier and job master, hiring out horses and vehicles.
In 1901 he was employed as a carman – a delivery driver - by his father.
Albert died 23 September 1901 aged 16. His parents are buried here with him.
His brothers Frank, George and Edward Harvey lie in plot 877.
