Gertrude Bartram (1884-1907)

Gertrude was born in Berkhamsted in 1884 and baptised at St Peter’s 20th December that year, the youngest daughter of Emma (née Bedford) and William Bartram, a gardener.

Her father died in 1890 and from at least 1891 Gertrude lived at 19, Highfield Road with her widowed mother & brother William.

She died 21 April 1907 aged twenty three. In 1911 her niece, Elsie Elizabeth Foskett, the child of her eldest sister, was buried with her, aged twenty one.
