Edward was born in 1880 in Little Gaddesden to Sarah Jane and Edward Harvey Bedford.
By 1891 the family lived at 62, Castle Street and his father ran a successful business as a carrier and job master, hiring out horses and vehicles.
Edward never married. he worked for his father as a coachman and died in December 1903 aged 23. He is buried here with his brothers George and Frank.
Their parents, who died earlier that year, are buried in plot 968 with his brother Albert.
