William was born in 1881, the son of George William Davis and Ann Maria (née London).
William does not appear to have married and in 1911, aged 30 and a bricklayer, he was living at home with his parents at 52, Charles Street. He was still with them at that address in 1924.
He died 14 March 1934 aged 53. Rather confusingly the probate record reads: “of 25a, Alexandra Road, Hendon… died at 54, Charles Street, Berkhamsted.” Administration was given to Harriet Maria Davis, spinster, his sister.
His parents are buried here in plot 946, his sister Harriet in Plot 938 and his brother Frank Charles also lies in this cemetery in an unmarked grave.
